Public transportation in Washington DC uses alphanumeric paging for critical communications to hundreds of crews operating and maintaining their huge fleet of subway cars and buses.  Prime contractor Motorola selected a paging system from DX Radio Systems Inc. for the paging portion of a complete system renovation and DX chose Technology At Work to commission the system.

Technology At Work fully tested the system and developed system commissioning procedures compliant with Motorola's specifications.  This 12 site simulcast system is equipped with fully redundant terminals and TAP protocol alphanumeric links to dispatch systems in the WMATA control center.
